I have a 3/4 Spanish classical guitar that needs new strings.
I have a set of Ernie Ball Black & Silver nylon strings (2406) that the shop gave me when I got the guitar for my birthday in October.
But it looks like something's not right with the silver sixth string compared to the other strings in the set. First of all it has a loop at one end which the fourth and fifth don't have. Secondly it is of a duller metal colour than the really silvery fourth and fifth. Then also it looks like it's the same gauge as the fifth, that can't be right can it?
So I'm wondering if there is some mistake and that string doesn't belong to that set, maybe somewhere an accidental switch was made? Maybe it's not even a sixth string?
Who can help?
Thanks
