these stupid things always make me cringe. what's worse is line about the "guitar"'s final price being so absurdly high.

all comments about the odious nature of everyone's favorite guitar troll aside, it really is a little sad how obvious the (harumph...) slightly less than original body styling represents a certian MM product....

you know... before the TSA pretty much made it impossible to bring a guitar on an airliner, the Axis really did fit in the overhead bin without cutting its head off....

Looking at how the neck plate is jimmied in there and at the enormous control cavity route for two small controls tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about that hack job of a guitar... :rolleyes:

If you want a Steinberger, buy a Steinberger... If you want an Axis, buy an Axis...

I don't like Ed Roman, and that particular guitar is very ugly. However the high price for that guitar is not completely ridiculous. The Steinberger neck and bridge are incredibly expensive and difficult to obtain, especially if that is a transtrem.
