Alright guys,

This year I've been through four surgeries, two hurricanes, and my beloved Camaro blowing up on me.

Now I just checked with Musician's Friend... my Lefty Sterling, originally estimated (by the salesman, when I ordered in August) to be ready by the beginning of Nov now has an ETA of Early-mid December.

Tell me everything's going to be all right and it'll be worth the wait (it's my first MM!) The axe might just be my lone major bright spot in one helluva dark year!

:)

Sorry, just had to let that out. I feel better now.

its gonna be alright :)

I have 2 Sterling, 1 on order and am gonna order another one next week. they're amazing basses and are worth the wait.

The usualy wait is about 3-4 months ... so you're in the right ballpark. Don't worry though; you'll have the best bass ever in no time ... then, you'll buy a few more ;)

I've had years like that, maybe missing the surgeries. Although I did have appendecitis in South America, and so even though it was only one surgery, it was relatively exciting.

I use "exciting" in the most negative possible manner.

I can definitely relate to the hurricanes.

"Everything is going to be alright."

There.

You feel better? At least you're amongst friends here.

That has to count.

Jack

Ketel One martinis and I am almost done.

Me and this white SR4 are reaching some agreements, though, and that's a good thing, right?

i think that is a good thing ... just as long as you're not reaching these agreements via verbal communication. see jack, if you're actually hearing the new bass reply with words n stuff then, um, maybe you've had too much of that K1

by the way ... my Sterlings told me to say "hi"

Have I told you that I had Sterlings?

I think at least two. A black sparkle and a white sparkle, and there may have been two or three that I am now forgetting.

OT: Hey Bovine, is the "Current Basses" on your website up to date?

It's almost up to date.

The Envy Green Bongo is still here but not for long (Hi Strummer).

The only thing I've added came today - the white SR4. I also have a Pearl Blue Bongo 5 HS on order.

Other than that.........I think it's nearly up to date.

yip, indedd, you have sir. i stole the "best production neck" quote from you.

ya, i was second guessing buying another Sterling (ya, i know, bad phatty) but then i remembered playing an HH at open house and wanting one of those too.

I figure i'll ahve to buy a bunch before BP puts out the AS Phatty signature Sterling. dammit im gonna try n get famous just for that. on a semi-related note: i got our demo directly to an exec at a record company. we've had some talks in the past about tech stuff and doing a music/web startup together, so i thought i'd call in a favor an have him check out my band's CD. i'll report on that once i get the word from him

Don't worry I'm in the same boat bottle. I keep taking trips to GC to play the Sterling they have in stock until mine makes its way home lol. Pretty sad I know, but a man who doesnt have an EBMM on hand to play will do desperate crazy things. Until then, embrace the insanity.
