...of LEFTHANZIA!

It's been a very long day - about 25 hours worth - and in between my two delayed flights and multiple back-to-back business meetings there was one bright spot that really made my trip special... Lunch with Mr. Ward!

What can I say? Chuck's a great guy. I enjoyed sharing our love for EBMM and music, our family and our life experiences. It was great getting some personal time with this fine fellow forumite and I look forward to the chance to do it again in the future! :)

I had a great time a lunch with Anthony and I look forward to doing it again!

Dinner though was a cluster f@#!, it was black tie, had to take a trolly tour in the rain. Had dinner in some ritzy restrurant in the Sears Tower and the Bud was warm!

We have a close connection but hope to make it home tonight. I've had a pretty good time, but I miss my basses.

Thanks again Anthony, glad you made it home safe.

I thought somebody had met Elvis or something. :D

Very cool! I'm glad you two had a chance to meet up. I haven't met any forumites in person yet.

Definitely cool to put not only faces to the names, but voices and personalities... Makes for an improved forum experience as well, me thinks! :)

Hey Anthony, why don't you come and join us in AZ in October.

I think the SOBII will be a blast.
Agreed, but I'm a bit stretched this year... Discussed w/ Chuck making the Dallas B-Day bash, too - gonna be a last-minute, can we swing it kinda thing. :o

Was Chuck wearing pants??
Funny - guess I should've mentioned that up front... Yes - Chuck was wearing pants! :p

He was also very accomodating, meeting me in my office building lobby. This helped to maximize our time together seeing as how I only had about 60-90 minutes available.

I'd be lying, though, if I didn't say I wasn't just a wee-bit concerned about what I was to find (relative to the pants thing) when I stepped off the elevator to meet him... ;)

Chuck was a perfect gentleman - even insisting on buying lunch as well! :)
