Hello All. I am the proud owner of yet another Ernie Ball Guitar :D

Actually my third.... an Axis 300 (Other two were an Axis and John Petrucci Model).

Firstly, what does the 300 designate over any other Axis?

Secondly, my main question, the original owner raised the pole pieces of the pickups in some vain tonal attempt which basically added unwanted microphonic effects.

I need to adjust the pole pieces back to the "default" height and was looking for some insight on how to best accomplish that task.

All advice is extremely appreciated

Thanks all,

Steve C

Per EB support.... I just have to snug the pole pieces to the bottom and per my local luthier, make sure the flat-head part of the pole is not parallel or perpendicular to the string.
