I'm new to this forum, and have just purchased an axis SS hard tail trans gold with serial no G26951. I'd like to know the date of birth of this awesome guitar. Thank you.

Your Axis Super Sport in Translucent Gold with a maple matching headstock was born on 24 January 2005 in the factory in San Luis Obispo, California and was originally sold to Wild West Guitars in Riverside, CA. Looks like it's got a birthday coming up soon!

Yes I live in France, and bought the guitar at wild west guitars in California. Thanks for the replies. I'm reading everything on this forum and I must say it's very interesting. I'll try to post some detailed pictures soon.
