Axis SS

Have a question please. Those who have the Axis SS with a piezo, how do you like the piezo? I am looking at trade my SM tobacco burst for one. I have never played a SS so I am just wondering how the tone control and piezo sound.

I really like the Piezo. To me, it adds a lot of tone flexibility to the guitar.

But play an Axis.

I looked high and low for one to play before I bought mine, but couldn't find one. Found an amazing Axis SS with Piezo and just couldn't pass it up. Needless to say, the neck doesn't work for me.

I play LP's and PRS guitars, with the wider, thinner necks. The difference between those and the Axis is significant, particularly when going from the Axis to an LP or PRS.

Thx. Hmmm I like 'thicker' necks. Had a baseball bat guitar (won't say the company name but it was a signature series of a Tx blues guy who died in a helicopter crash :> ).
