Question AXIS Super Sport Replacement Pickups -- Opinions?

Hi All -- Just picked up a used ASS, stock pickups are too hot for me, need a vintage-hot type set. Considering a Norton in the bridge and 36th Anniv in the neck. Anyone else swap these out for a lower output type situation?
