Question Axis Super Sport Rosewood edition

Hey all,

I see a 2008 ASS Rosewood edition listed on The 12th Fret website
Question - did this edition actually ship any with a maple neck?

Just asking as I thought rosewood edition ASS typicality meant rosewood top on body with a solid rosewood neck.

That's a neck swap from a 2008 LE (Sequoia Gold, a brown burst sparkle finish with gold hardware).

By the 2008 12th fret logo, back then they offered a yearly LE (Limited Edition).

Yup, that 12th fret logo only went on that limited run of guitars. Note that all the gold hardware, including the gold truss rod wheel, have been changed out. Presumably went on the neck they swapped with.
