Backup Gear -Question-

Hi there,

do you use any backup gear when you are on a Gig?
I have alwayse some replacement stings in my backpack. Our guitarist carry his entire equipment twice to the gigs

Plse post some habits

Spare batteries, spare leads, DI (to go direct if my rig craps out), spare bass (changing strings at a gig takes too long).

Batteries and extra cables are all I take. It works before I load it it will work all night.

Yeah, that they said. I usually take extra batteries, strings, instrument cables, speaker cables, amp power cords, extra underwear, and an extra bass. Always gotta be prepared. Actually, I just started taking a second bass. I forgot my band got paid

I don't take spare strings either.

Wait, I said my band got paid, I didn't say anything about me getting paid!


Oh wait, the first time I played at church for worship service (before the new band), I blew the fuse in my amp. Thankfully EBS is nice enough to include a spare in the fuse cover! Now I take extra fuses! (Which are you supposed to use, the slow blow??)

the only thing I don't have is a backup speaker cab, but I could run my modeler direct if need be.. I have a direct box on my pedalboard for the piezo..

And as of tommorow, i'll be taking 2 basses.

never thought about a spare strap tho... hmmm.

sometimes i take a spare bass but other times im too lazy to do that.

And, at least a half tank of gas, no matter how close the gig is!
