Well, I had a bad week. One that I have done several times before....funerals. Yes, more than 1....some dear friends of mine.

Well, I got home yesterday and got a call from a local band needing a bass player. Not only that, they have a HUGE show at the Norva here in Virginia. The Norva is a favorite place for many touring bands. I have two weeks to get the tunes down...not a problem....and my first gig is a biggie.

I will have the Stealth bongo and that beautiful LE bongo at the show.

So, that cheered me up a bit.....:p

I have some forum catching up to do....man...this place is BUSY! :D
 
Sorry for the losses, Koogs. Glad you got a cool new gig laying down the bottom, sir.

Koogie you need more than a bunch of + 123456 s

There is nothing but time that will let you deal with the losses. I ain't doing so good with some of that 6 years after losing my dad. That is normal behavior. From your thread title I know you are normal.

Hurt when it hurts my friend . Keep on living and do what you do.

Play your ass off at any gig ya get.

That is life as I know it.

And pinch the wife on the butt and grin cuz that brings you back to what you still have to do in the life you're living. If she slaps ya do it again. That is what the living is that your parents put into you.

The world even though I shouldn't say here is not an easy place.

up and down is life. it creates new life too.
