It arrived today... Wow, simply beautiful.

Big shout out to Robbie at the North Dallas Guitar Center. I was severely bummed when I called and he told me that Keith had already bought the one they had in stock, but give him a little bit and he'd see what he could do for me. When he called back about 15 minutes later I was ready to buy it sight unseen, I had no doubts it would be nice judging from the others that were being posted.

Only one little gotcha, when it was shipped from the store in PA, it was supposed to come directly to me, but UPS mixed it up and sent it to Robbie's store. When he called with the tracking number and I told him what was going on he was apologetic as hell and promised to take care of this situation. He called in a redirect but it still had to go to Texas before turning around to come back to me. He asked what strings I played and when I told him he said I'll have a box shipped out to you to make up for the delay! Robbie is a stand up guy and while he really didn't have to do that it is really appreciated. Unbelievable customer service. Thanks Robbie! Now I know why Keith talks up that particular store.

Anyhow here's a pic of the guitar...

Congrats man! every time I look at one of the Bali Burst Balls, I realize it's becoming one of my 2/3 fave finishes of all time..

That is stunning to look at. One of the best finishes that EBMM has ever released.

Holy cow, look at the excellent job someone at ebmm did lining up that bookmatched quilt. Amazing attention to detail. Stunning top. Wow, nice sausage quilt...

Fred, congrats man, nice to see the old fret dots!!! Enjoy!!!
