all right, check this out. i have an Ibanez GSR 200 (a cheap, but very good beginners bass). it is transparent red with rosewood fingerboard and black headstock. now, i actually really like the feel of the bass but it is not stageworthy. i really need new hardware and pickups. any suggestions?
 
Allparts or Warmoth I think are ok places to check out. A nice Hipshot bridge and tuners and maybe some Aero's with an Aguilar 3 band would be enough to blow the paint off the Ibey!
 
Post Traumatic Ibanez Stress

First remove the strings. Then saw the neck off and drill a 1 inch hole through the middle of the body. Place a broom handle through the hole and hammer a nail into it, to secure the body as a table like platform on top the handle.

Take into the garden and bury the bottom of the broom handle several inches into the soil. Sprinkle bird seed on the bass body. This makes the instrument more useful and I guarantee you wont have any more worries about the concept of improving an Ibanez bass after that.
