okay so uh yeah im new here and im also a bassist but i recently just read about an instrument called a bass stick..okay this is a new thing for me whats a bass stick? ive never heard those two words used together like that..okay thanks guys..

hmm..ive heard of him..thanks dude..so whats a bongo bass? lol im like way outta it huh? im like a new bass player and like i only no the terms electric and acoustic..sorry im bringin a bad name to all my fellow bassists out there..if ya could help me that'd be great thanks..

Welcome to the boards. Check out the sticky threads at the top of the board - they're very useful. If you've got questions, try using the search function on this website - this board has got a wealth of information stored in its archives.

As for the Stick... that thing is a piano manifested in the form of a nasty bass guitar! ;)
 
haha i read that thread and realized im gonna need A LOT of practice to play bass i didnt get half the stuff those people said there..well then again i've been playin for maybe 6 months..
 
hmm okay i dont quite get that post..mayb it juss cuz im blonde lol but yeah LTE is Liquid Tension Experiment and DT is Dream Theater in which John Petrucci is in..LTE is his side project i guess you could say..yeah thats bout all i know lol...anyway ill have to check out those sticks..they seem interesting..but id never learn to play them u prolly need big hands anyway..that i dont have! lol okay ttyl
 
okay so spector..the thing about the subs and stingrays that i dislike are that they look to NORMAL...i checked out the bongos tho and i like them A LOT more!! i like the cut better how it looks more unfinished its not as curved..i think that gives it a way more unique sort of look..okay well ttyl
