I don’t claim to be a guitarist.
I do claim to own some guitars.
These guirars, in fact.

Hey - I was thinking that I should finish the set and get an Albert with the SSS package…but then I thought: P90s ARE single coils.
Am I going to notice a big difference between 3 P90s and 3 SSS?

Yes... they are quite different... the SSS model is the one that "out strats the strat"...
fwiw, I'm a bass player who likes to try to play gittar on occasion. That being said, out of all the gittars I've owned and played, the Albert Lee models became my very favorite...

Nice Jack and yes the SSS is totally different, the stock singles are Seymour Duncans made for the AL, you need a pinkburst :)

Picked it up used some years ago, for a great price...
Doesn't hurt to keep your eyes open.
Plus, it plays & sounds great.. quite different than the MM90's...

Yeah, that Orange Crush is truly my desert island guitar. Wish I could find an SSS model to match it.

I’m still working my way into the white AL. It’s VERY different from the OC and in a good way. I’m glad I don’t have to choose between them.

My son claimed my red Silo Special but might want to trade it back to me for a F@nd#r I have here for market research…so I’ll have some single coil availability but it isn’t the same as having the Albert SSS, right?

Jack Silo Special and AL SSS not even close, totally different pups by different manufactures, AL SSS strat killer as is a cutlass SSS, tell your boy keep the Silo :)
