thanks everyone! I like to call it "still life with palm leaves".

was totally struggling finding a good background for the pic and gave up and started trimming the palm trees outside. then I saw all the leaves on the ground and thought "wow, that looks cool". hence, the pic!

now, aren't you not allowed to throw palm leaves in the trash? what to do?!?! :confused:

Chop them up for salad? Does any animal on earth eat palm leaves? Even insects?

Perhaps that is why it's forbidden to throw them in the trash.

They're the undead of the plant world.
 
I'm all like "Who the hell is Beff?", "What did I miss now?", etc. Then I see that pretty, pretty bass and I realize, "Beth". Doh!

Those palm leaves could be shipped to kansas to patch a leaky roof. They look weavable to me.
