Bob is great, his shipping prices are reasonable, and his prices on most strings are lower than anyone else. Not sure how $16.50 for Slinky's stacks up, but I only order from Bob.

for UK players - i recommend www.stringsdirect.co.uk - cheap Ernie Ball strings and they are even cheaper if you buy them in bulk!!
I've also bought from Stringbusters when Strings Direct haven't stocked the brand I was after... Pretty much the same story.
