I bought a NOS 30th Anniversary Stingray last month, and to my horror it arrived with four cracked dots on the fretboard. I contacted Customer Service, which advised me to send it in for repair.

I received the bass today, and it looks better than it did when I first got it! It looks like all of the fretboard dots had been replaced with new ones. In addition, it feels like the bass got a factory setup and new strings while in SLO, because it plays and sounds fantastic. Finally, it looks like it got a refresh on the finish, because a couple of surface scuffs in the clearcoat have magically disappeared!

A special thank you goes out to Dan McPherson, who kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and graciously dealt with my many electronic inquiries regarding the status of my bass. EBMM Customer Service rocks!

The world would be perfect if every company had customer service like Ernie Ball.

Oh Yeah!

So what else is new?

This is exactly why we're here - great product and consistently, awesome customer service!

EBMM for life - done.

I've had my own great experience with customer service, and let's just say words can't express my feeling for this great company. Maybe that's why I switched my entire bass arsenal from F*nd*er to all BALL in less than 2 months. Great service. Great company.

Well, I can't let go of my Fender P/J, it just sounds and feels so sweet. That being said, I haven't picked it up since I got my 30th back from SLO!
