Actually, it's a present for someone- he wanted a guitar and since I was the designated buyer, I insisted it be an EBMM.

That thing looks too gorgeous. In fact ... I'm pretty tempted to just keep it ...
 
If it had white pickups, nobs and a maple neck, I would have outbid anyone! ;)

Thanks! Yeah- I'd been looking for a week or so to find a nice Sil Spec or Albert Lee as a gift. If I'd known about needing one as a gift a few weeks ago I might have sold him <ahem> your <ahem> burnt apple! :eek:

I saw this one 5:30 am and I almost pulled the trigger....like an idiot I didnt....you snooze you lose!!! I'm still not sure if want a silo or an axis super sport.... :eek:

Hey NorM,
It's very simple, just see if you can follow along... (Alright so my wife wasn't able to keep up either, she just thinks I'm a fruit-loop) :rolleyes:

1. Fred buys "rare sparkly" Burnt Apple Silhouette Special from beej. 3 weeks later...
2. beej snags a "rare sparkly" Blue Dawn Silhouette from EBay.
3. Fred sees this guitar and flips out over the rosewood fretboard.
4. Fred posts half in jest asking if beej wants his Burnt Apple Silo back in trade for the Blue Dawn Silo.
5. Fred notices that the seller lives about 40 minutes away. Hmmmm. No shipment necessary.
6. beej says sure, he'd take the Burnt Apple for the Blue Dawn.
7. beej talks to seller and says that he has someone local who will "pick up" the guitar. Seller says that's cool...
8. Fred goes to the bank and gets cash to take to seller.
9. Fred sends Burnt Apple back to Ernie Ball for a setup and will have it delivered to friend of beej.
10. beej sends Fred a check.
11. Fred gets new "rare sparkly" Blue Dawn Silo, beej gets his Burnt Apple Silo back for his friend and everyone's happy. Pictures to follow...

Now what's so tough to follow other than it all happens in about a 12 hour timeframe? :D

So am I the only person with both a Blue Dawn and a Burnt Apple. GWDavis does have 4 "rare sparkly" MM's.

I'm gonna toot my own horn and proclaim myself the Sparkle King.

I have 9 Pet's in sparkle colors, but I don't have that rare sparkly Burnt Apple :mad:

I'll never give up on my quest for all the sparkles,
