Bogus Bongo Case on da Bay

Looks like the case Bass Central had made for the early Bongos, which didn't come with a case. I have one. It's a POS and worth all of maybe twenty bucks.

It will fit a Bongo if that's what it is.

For what it's worth.

Andrew: They're just like any other EBMM case. I think they're made to fit all EBMM basses.

Seriously, the only Bongo case that I've seen that was made by EBMM is the LE cases made for the '05 Buttercream Bongos. I might have been around another one before, but I didn't really pay enough attention to it to notice.

The MusicMan Bongo case is a custom made SKB that is a tad longer for the Bongo, and with MusicMan molded into the top cover. Other than that, it looks just like any other SKB on the planet . . . . and is the same for the 4 and 5, and I think the same one fits the 'Rays, but not positive there.

A Bongo will fit perfectly well in any generic case that fits a SR4, Precision, Jazz, Ric, and many others.

A four string Bongo wil fit in any generic case. Not the same for 5-ers. But, you wouldn't know that, would you? :D

"Write The Sentence Good" alert!

Yeah, those are G&G's, I believe, and....well, they haven't yet become collectable, have they?
Ok....I fixed it....I'm high on caffeine now.
It's a pretty nice case & makes it distinctive when you have a bunch of MMs all in the same style case......it sticks out like a turd in a punchbowl.:D

The new, improved, one-size-fits-all (except Sterling) bass case from MusicMan has a notch or cut-out for the lower bongo horn. I have one of these, and I have an older case that came with my first bongo. Same case except for the cutout and maybe some pads are placed a bid differently.
No camera in the house right now, so no proof.
