Okay here goes. I got my lava pearl Bongo 4HH about a week ago. Ive used it on two gigs and two rehearsals through my Gallien-Krueger rig ( a 400RB 2x10 combo with a 4x10RBH under it). Ive owned a StingRay 5, two StingRays, and a Sterling ( a lovely white sparkle/tortoise shell model ) and this bass sounds better than all of them. It has an amazing growl to it and even my drummer is totally in love with it. Our soundman says it has the best range hes ever heard from any bass and I love the full bottom and clean non-harsh top end. And oooohhhh the mids. Saawweeeettt. Its easily the most versatile bass I've ever played. I noticed tonight that my trusty old P-Bass was sad that it spent most of the night on the stand.
