Bongo-HH or HS 5 string?

I am leaning towards the bongo, I have owned two Wals, I have always liked the tone and features like a built in D.I. but both of the basses were heavy when playing live. Also living in Ga. I had problems with neck relief on both of them.
Anyway, I have played the bongo HH 5 at Guitar Center and loved the tone compared to the wal. (and half the price)I have not gotten hold of a HS 5 at the store. Could anyone tell me how the difference in tone would be. If the HS gives more of a Jazz tone when panned to the front. that would be acceptable. Bovine could probably give advice on that.

I've always liked the angry, snarling tone you can get from a Wal. Color me an old Percy Jones (Brand X) fan. Always found him much more listenable than that Jaco guy, heh heh.

As you probably know now, the Bongo can do that tone. The double humbucker is EXTREMELY good at that. The neck 'bucker does settle down nicely when used solo, so you can also play blues or ballads or country or whatever you'd like.

I just got my HSC model this week and haven't yet found the perfect string set, but it seems a bit more refined and civilized than the 2H model.

I think my favorite will still be the double humbucker, but there is NOTHING wrong with the H-SC model....it's just 'nicer'.
