Bongo pickup question: Jack, Jon, BP, anyone

I've been playing my Bongo 4HH for six months or so, and tonight I noticed that the pickups were angled in toward the center. In other words, the neck pu is higher closer to the neck, and the bridge pu is higher closer to the bridge. I've never dropped this bass and have done no adjustments since I received it from the factory other than one tweak on the truss rod wheel. Is this the way the pu's are adjusted at the factory? Obviously, I can get a phillips screwdriver and adjust them myself, but I'd like to leave it however TPTB think it sounds best.
 
Not sure if I was clear in my description; it was late. Explained another way. Pretend your index fingers are the two HH pickups. Hold your index fingers a foot in front of your face. Point them at each other, parallel to the ground. Now, slightly drop the tips toward the ground. When viewed fromthe side, that's how my pickups are angled.

Didn't say I saw it as a problem or that it bothers me, just that I never noticed it before and wondered whether that's how Jon and the setup guys intended them to be. As I said, I know I can get a screwdriver and adjust them myself.
 
The p/ups should be in line with the strings. Looking from the side, use the strings like a straight edge and adjust the p/ups to line up in that manor.

Thanks, Jon. I figured they were supposed to be parallel, but thought I should check with you to be certain. Couple of turns of the screws, and all is well in Bongoland. Thanks, as always, for your help. Now, about that HH Sterling you guys are building for me :) . . . I'm patient . . . six weeks in . . . six or so to go.
