1982 Daion Power Mark XX-B in Red . :p

He said it.:)

Thanks, guys! A small turn of the truss rod wheel and the setup is almost perfect. The neck flattened out a bit during the journey, I guess, but that was easy enough to fix.

I am really blown away by this thing. I haven't found an "unusable" tone yet, and the same punch and clarity that I noticed when I first plugged one in last year are all here! The neck pickup doesn't even impede my slapping that much; the Daion has the same tight space between the fretboard and the pickup, so i'm already used to it. Great bass!

Step II is to find an amp that can keep up with it a little better...I'm thinking Ashdown.

Is that a pretty accurate version of Radiance Red? I've seen different pictures and it always looks a little different in each one.

In indirect light, it looks like a brighter version of Candy Apple Red. In direct sunlight, all of the sparkles become visible and it becomes really bright. Those pics are an okay representation of the "indirect-light" mode. I'll post a pic of it in direct sunlight later.
