do any of you know how the bongo is selling?
do any of you think it will die like sabre did?

iam wondering because if its not selling well i will be sad
if it will die in the near future i will not be able to get one

if it sticks around for a couple mo years then i might be able to snag one
if not ill be a bongo virgin

One of the company guys might answer your question with accurate information, but from what I've heard, you don't have any reason to be worried just yet.

They can't build them fast enough is what I heard.

The Bongo just got an Innovation Award overseas. So I would be willing to bet MM will keep building them for some time. I think if enough people complain about it, they will eventually throw in at least a gig bag. Whatever that's worth.

didnt sombody say they got a cheap hardshell and it fit good in it

if so whats the brand

Not cheap ($129) but it works well for mine. Made by G&G Vintage cases. It's the same one Bov has.

I believe the four Bongers can fit into any hardshell case without a problem. The problem arises with five Bongers - they're just too big.

I can make up lingo and new words whenever I want. Gujkt phwee! I'm so cool.

Slenig?! Rhoohmmimimimmmm!

I found out that with a tiny bit of reshaping (and I mean just a tiny bit around the upper horn) the 4 string Bongos fir great into a MM StingRay Case - that is where my green Bonger now resides;)

What did you use to touch up the green after you cut it down? :D

The Bongo's horn is just too big for modern day conveniences.
