Bovinehost and anyone in Dallas area

Hey Bov,

Is there a really good luthier in the Dallas area that is good with basses? The reason I ask is I have an Ibanez 6-string that I had defretted a couple years ago. It actually sounds pretty good but it really needs to be setup and tweeked by someone who is familiar with fretless basses. The luthier that did the defret here did a great job but I don't think he's had a lot of experience setting up and optimizing playability of fretless basses. Since Dallas is only about a 2 1/2 hr drive, I would be willing to go down there to see someone really qualified. Thanks for the info as usual.

I know a guy that does instrument repair in Carrollton. I've got his card at home. I'll look it up this weekend and see if there's anyone that he recommends.
