Bridge removal question

spectorbassguy said:
I'm trying to remove the bridge from my OLP MM fiver and am wondering if the hex wrench I need for the two posts is metric? 7/64" is too small and 1/8" is too big. I would imagine it's the same for an SR5. Anyone know for certain?
I checked out this link and didn't get a definitive answer:

OLP being asian, I would guess so. Metric's all they have over there.

For those of you who don't know Shlumkin (Frank) is the guitar tech with our German distributer Musik Meyer, and is a great bass player! (we jammed when Frank and Phillip were in town last week.)

Welcome to the forum Frank!

Ein prosit! Ein prosit der Gemütlichkeit! Ein.. Zwei.. Drei.. G'suppa!

Sorry, that's all the German I know, and it's probably not even Hochdeutsch.
That's what happens when you're educated in a beer garden. ;)

Welcome, Frank! I think I have a photo of you somewhere, playing bass for some old guy in a cowpilot shirt.

Actually, the other guy in the pic is Scott Applegate International Rep of Doom

Jack,

You could borrow this answer to the "who are you" question... it's from a long defunct web site that I used to love, called "Ask Mr. Angst".

Mr. Angst said:
Who am I? I was born from the unnatural union between an angel
and a slithering beast. I was expelled from the bowels of our
so-called civilization. I am wed to myself and write the book of
love with droplets of my own blood. My daily toil is to slowly
tear the flesh from my bones. On Sundays I pay homage to the pus
oozing from the infected boils which cover me. The stench I
produce inflames the nostrils of all other species. I live, and
live, and live, relentlessly. So you see, I am your
repugnant image as you stand naked before a mirror.
