Build code?

Loving my Y2D! I looked up my serial for date of birth and also found a build code. Do I need a special decoder ring to decipher this code?

Search the forums - there's a post somewhere on here that explains what the various fields in the build code indicate. Basically it's specs for various aspects of the guitar, e.g. finish, neck wood, etc.

Model/Body configuration - color (and body/top wood types, when available) - neck (and fretboard/inlay/headstock) - pickguard - case - hardware

901 - SM y2d hard tail
CH - Honey Roasted (quilt) on African mahogany body
PM - pau Ferro board with roasted maple neck, and, if I remember correctly, matching headstock
15 - clear pickguard with black pickups
CS - case (this one would be SKB style)
LE - chrome hardware, I don't remember if these all came with pearl buttons or not (normally this would be "CR" for chrome, "BM" for black matte, etc)

Awesome. Thank you! All the specs check out. Standard chrome tuner buttons on it. Seems like the only thing changed were the original chrome strap buttons for a set of standard black locking Dunlops.
