I'm looking for a new or mint 2005 LTD Buttercream Stingray. Does anyone know where to get a good price on one or is anyone selling theirs?

Thanks.

I am located in Los Angeles and yeah I saw the one on talk bass and I've been talking with the owner of it. Its a good deal but Im looking for one with a rosewood fretboard.

Any other places that have them?

I'd just like to say that I have done the mailorder thing from basscentral and I got great prices! Althought I believe they do like to use pressure tactics to make a sale, but that's not different from any other music store I've been to.
Looking for a LTD is always gonna run you a couple hundred bucks extra...
unless you get the HAWT TAX FREE military discount! muaahaaHAaHAHAHA

Yeah I checked at bass central but since they only have one left, they're selling it at retail which is frankly a bit too much. Anywhere from 1,000 to 1,300 is decent for me. I've found a couple good priced ones but they mostly have maple fretboards. Anyone know a place where I can get one around that price with a rosewood?

I have a Mint Buttercream StingRay 4H.
But it has no frets and an extra knob . . .
HAs a dark board but it's PF.
Didn't consider selling it but I have a
"separation" price on most of my gear.

dyuaru if you don't buy this I will.. I just put some gear on eBay to make room financially.. Let me know if you're going to get it.. :)

This is a very good shop to do business with. Mom and pop type store that will take good care of you.

It is only there because it is a 4 stringer. :)

I like mom and pop shops! :) I want to see if the orginal poster is going to buy it. I don't want to buy it from underneath him, but I would like to have it if he passes.

dyuaru, a buttercream rosewood board, 4-string single H was at Musician's Outlet in Palm Desert as of two or three weeks ago - sorry for not telling you sooner, it just dawned on me that was there. Looked pretty clean - I think they had it priced kind of high, but it's been there for a while and it's worth a phone call if it's what you seek. They're listed in the dealer thread over on the build-a-bass page.

Thanks for all the help guys, you have been a great help. Thanks for the find Steamthief, Ill look it up as soon as I can.

As for the one at mass street music, looks pretty good but I found a couple others that have a slightly better deal so Jason Hebert, you can have it :D

So far I have a deal for 1149 on the buttercream at a somewhat local store. Anyone find a better deal, if not then again thanks for the help, its really appreciated.

Well, we're very helpful, but check the FAQ on posting new prices for instruments, please.

Other than that, welcome and good luck!

Jack
