Can I use the Scratch Pad with EBMM guitars?

I just picked one of these scratch pad things up and while reading information on the back it states that the scratch pad is designed to protect polyurethane finishes.

Since I have no idea about guitar finishes, I checked the instrument spec pages on EBMM and it states the guitars are finished in high gloss polyester.

Is this thing compatible or do I need to return it?

Just in case some of you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, the scratch pad is a pad designed to protect the finish on the back of the guitar from belt buckles, rivets, etc. It seems pretty cool and uses no adhesive or anything and can be removed and repositioned at will.

Any help is appreciated,

Speaking of which....what gives?!? How long has it been? I'm getting nervous about mine now. When I ordered it the salesman told me 3 months, but now yours is taking a longer time (or is it?) and I saw in another thread there's now a 5 month wait on EBMMs. I'm just curious - I don't mind waiting, but I like to have an idea.

My AL was ordered on February 8th, so it should be here any day now.

This is the worst part of the entire wait, knowing that it could be here any day and yet.......it may not be today

I'm beyond excited and have to keep myself from going out and buying a beater guitar just for that new toy feeling.

And for you axis users the scratch pad company is making ones to fit the P*S guitars so they will fit a ebmm

I had told marc at scratch pad I would use one but I dont play strats then he told me the news .
