i just got my first EB/MM about 2 weeks ago, and i absolutely love it! it's the Petrucci model. i need to chnage the strings on it, but i have no experience with floating tremelo's and i am afraid i'm going to end up screwing up my guitar. i'd like to take all the strings off so i can clean the neck, and then replace the strings. can somebody help me? thanks

A common misconception is that these are the same as locking nuts. My guitarist thought so, but then again he's blind.
Replace each string, one at a time, take yer left hand fingers and hold them on the string 1/2 to 3/4 inch past tuner, and clip there. Unlock locking wheel. Jam string in hole. Tighten. So simple it's stupid, makes life so much easier.
