While I love looking at the reds and blues, my choices when I consider buying always come back to greys and blacks...



So, for me I'd go Egyptian Smoke...




If I played guitar, of course...

my JP6 is smoke.......hmmmmm......i think i'd prefer red.....
in stage lights smoke is great but at home i dunno like it a lot.

Egyptian Smoke all the way Pete. It has a "green highlights" it it, very awesome in person. Very hard to photo, in most photos it looks too grey.

Well, I prefer ES, but it's a very popular color. You don't see many JPs in CR.

My Satriani is in Candy Apple, so I always try to get a new color. I'd like the Egyptian Smoke in a JP7 (with the whole mystical 7's Egyptian theme in mind). I've seen it in person once, and it does look much better than the photos.

ES - just because I've only ever seen one red guitar I liked. And it belongs to David Gilmour.

Well! I would say Candy red...I just bought one in rad red, and the reds seemed to attract more attention, but ES is nice also.

If I didn't get my black JP... then I would have gone for mystic dream, but then straight after that comes red, it definitely looks awesome. I can imagine the mkII will look even better in red.
