Center Detent question again

Hi guys, I remember reading a while back that someone had problems with their control knobs and not feeling the center detents very well, my buddy's new SR5 has this problem, what's the fix again for this problem?? I forget whether it's that the pots are too shallow on the p/g or what.

Take the knobs off, then move the pots to the detent position(in the middle) then re install the knobs...it should work then.

Also make sure the knobs don't slide too far down on the post. That will also make the center detent hard to find.

Jack is right...That's one of the reasons the white plastic washers are under the knobs.
