Changed string gauge on my Axis Sport

I just went from 9s to a set of 10s with heavy bottom on my Axis Sport and now the tremolo bridge is raised in the back and the action is pretty high. What should I do? Also, my high E gets caught under the pickup often. Is there a cure? Thanks in advance for your advice.

you have a sport what is it 3 single coils or what? when you go to heaveier strings you need to tighten the spring claws to bring the back down. and make sure the birdge is all leveled up then look at shimming the neck.

Thanks for the reply. Two humbuckers. I tightened the spring claws as far as I could so it's a little bit better. Still up in the air. What would shimming the neck do?

if its still up then loosen it and add another spring. i just got a new axis that had 11's on it and it had three springs but for what i use i only needed 2. also depending on the action i usually set mine up were the string height at the last fret is around 4/64th and then i adjust the truss rod just enough to hit tapped harmonics on the low e. if the action is to low those wont sound. you will want the birdge all nice and level before you do all this. this is just the way i do it and i have floyd guitars so milage may differ but you get the point. some may help out alittle more.
