Playing around with my PB. Thought I'd share my desktop with you guys.

Edit2: This is a moment I am very proud of. Jack made a request and I was able to fulfill it. :)

Press the "Print Screen" button, which is, on a standard keyboard, to the left of the "Num Lock", "Caps Lock", and "Scroll Lock" lights.

Now you just paste into an image program of your choice. If you don't have one, a good free one is IrfanView. Open that up and press CTRL+V and you'll have your desktop. Save it, upload it, violà!

Edit: Did I say CTRL+P? I meant CTRL+V. My bad, mang.

I have a fancy schmancy keyboard and my "Print Scr" button is bisceted with "Sys Req" underneath a line and when I hit it I get nothing.

You should get a Mac then. Makes life much easier. I think that allegedly Bill Gates is allegedly a Sadist.

Yeah, after you hit it, a pic of your desktop is in the clipboard. So open up an image program, Adobe Photoshop, IrfanView, whatever, and paste the clipboard's contents into there. With Ifranview, open up the program and press CTRL+V (or go to the Edit menu and select Paste). In Photoshop, you'd have to create a new image (File/New...) and paste in there.
 
Maddog's desktop is remarkably similar to mine. My icons are different though. Jack, I can't wait to till we have our photoshoot, we'll give em some real nice art to look at.

hey do any of you guys have high resolution images of sterlings or stingrays that would make for a good wallpaper? anything big - i can resize it

I laugh at all these girly man machine users. Nothing like using a eunuch, er I mean, UNIX machine.
