Hey Knuckleheads,

I’ve been a member of this forum for a while now and have always been impressed by how supportive the EBMM Forum community is. Because of that and the fact that this forum was one of the sites that helped inspire me, I wanted to invite you to the new website I spent every waking hour of the last year building. It’s an online hub for musicians and other enthusiasts to share photos and knowledge about their instruments, gear, studios, and other music related things. My hope is that it will be used to let experienced musicians share their knowledge with other experienced musicians, manufactures big and tiny to show off their products, and more importantly I hope to inspire a new generation of musicians and give them another resource to learn and appreciate gear. I also think it can be a great tool for this forum as you could use the links to your item profiles to post your gear on threads and not have to type all the specs or repost the images every time (see my signature for an example). We are currently in closed alpha so there could be a few minor bugs (please report them) and registration is invite only. So far we’ve only been inviting close friends. EBMM Forums will be the first public site that we are sharing the link with and the first instrument posted on the site was my EBMM Sterling. I’d personally love to see an army of Music Man bassists on the site. It would also be a huge honor if EBMM was the first manufacturer to setup a profile. I’d really appreciate some knucklehead support if you guys and gals could take a few minutes to check out the site and give me some feedback.

Well, I tried to sign up with 2 different codes, and each time it wiped all my info so I had to start from scratch. If you'll send a code you're sure will work, I'd be happy to check it out.

Thank you for reporting that. I'm looking into a fix right now. If anyone else experiences this problem let me know and I can setup an account for you on my end or you can try again later. Really sorry for the inconvenience.

Yup, I experienced the same thing. Thinking it went through, I tried to log in later to leave a reply and no dice.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm struggling to fix the problem because I can't replicate it on my end (im the entire development team right now). I've had like 3 people tell me they've experienced the same thing and some may not be reporting it. I've gone back and tested with the latest version of google chrome, ie, firefox and safari on both a desktop and iphone and can't replicate the symptoms. I don't want to bother you to spend too much time but if you could let me know what browser and device your using that would help. Also are you getting any error messages? For instance if you try to enter passwords that don't match it should show red text saying they dont match. If that message doesn't show up it could be the java I'm using to verify the input or security settings maybe. I'll keep looking into it.

aha! finally got it to work after several attempts. I received the activation email and now I'm set up.
