I ordered a Tangerine Pearl Bongo 4 HH in early December as it was the best colour available (in my opinion) at the time.
Now with 2016 I have discovered the addition of Chilli Red, so immediately I have changed my mind. I have contacted EB who recommended I contact my dealer in the UK. I called in today and told them I wanted to swap colours. Luckily they haven't started my Bongo yet so my guy contacted the UK distributor and everything should be sorted now. My delivery eta for the Tangerine was going to be mid April. I hope that the delivery hasn't slipped due to my colour change? We will see. Seeing the new colour I know I would have kicked myself had I not gone for the new colour. It looks beautiful.
 
Both colors are great, can't wait to see your bongo. What pickguard are you getting.
 
Tangerine pearl was a great colour for bongo's but to each his own, im sure chilli red looks great too!

I put a tort PG on a desert gold Boingo. Desert gold
seems to be the same color as tangerine but more
"metalic/automotive finish" looking. It's great look.

The yellow-orange elements in my particular torty
are a truly dead-on match for the desert gold color,
so perfect you can almost believe the yellow-orange
elements are not colored but are clear and let the
gold color beneath the PG show thru. It's magic.
You will truly love it :-)

Confessions:
1. My DG & Torty Boingo is for sale cuz I have too
many fretted 5's, and I'm keeping my SR5HS.

2. My PG is not EBMM original. I got it for free so
thaz my excuse/alabi. But the EBMM torty is very
much the same type [IOW tangerine+torty=WOW].
