clicking

I just purchased a stingray and am having a problem with a clicking/slapping sound, I do play very agressive, but seem to get that clicking sound even when I tame down, any suggestions?

Sounds like your style of playing would be suited to a higher action. The clicking you described is probably exaggerated fret buzz due to the strings striking upper frets while playing.

hey man some guy at my church has that same problem and hes like really good but personally i think the clickin makes it sound like ur a more safisticated player

I personally like to hear a little "clicking" in a StringRay.

Thanks, I have set the action a little higher than Im used to, but I think Ill try a little higher and see what happens, I seem to have the same problem with just about any bass Ive owned with the exception of a rd Artist, ill let ya know what happens.
