This may seem like an odd question, but...

Will the same color actually be the same color on different EBMM models?

For example, would Blue Pearl be the same shade of blue, with the same finish, on an Axis vs. a Luke vs. a Silhouette?

I would say that solid colors should have consistency to them on the aspects of color. Sparkle finishes are a monster on their own, but they do tend to maintain a consistency, though...

The only ones that could have any variable would be burst type colors, and/or sparkles, because of variation of woods, quilts, etc.

Yeah, the transparent colors would be the ones to worry most about. The same species of woods can vary wildly from tree to tree - and even different parts of the same tree - resulting in planks that are darker or lighter than others, more figured vs. totally boring, etc.

My trans purple Axis Sport that you see in my avatar seems to be a darker piece of swamp ash, or at least in my apartment it is. It's tough to get it to photograph right, and it looks almost maroon, brown or black depending on the lighting; it's definitely not as visible as the regular Axi that have the ligher colored maple tops.

It's also kinda tough for me to tell if my swamp ash AL is a trans blue or a trans teal for the same reason, so much so that I'm gonna have to have Jonguitarz confirm this from the factory shipping records. Still a nice shade, tho...
