What this thread seems to prove, even with only a few replies
in so far, is that the Boingo 4HH voice is immune to ruination
or degradation ... unless you do something absurd like using a
geetar amp
Thatsedd, I'll throw in with the MarkBass crowd. Got 2x6 and
1x12 MBs. Possibly too few ponies for you, but just buy all the
horsepower you need for your venues and bandmates, and the
Boingo HH will make everything OK.
This acoarst is not unique to the HH config. Boingos rule, and
that is not slang but is proper english. Check out "rule" in any
dictionary. Boingos don't just rule ... they reign soopreem ! No
half decent rig can undermine any Boingo.
Altho rare for me, I have run the Boingo into the house system
now and then [really big room etc]. Boingos do NOT need the
voicing of a bass amp to "correct" their sound. When I go DI I
do use a Fishman acoustic pre, but thaz set close to flat.
