control knobs on stingrays

do the control knobs on the newer stingrays come have centre detentes (i believe their called) wen you turn the knobs you can feel a centre poistion. im just curious cos ive tried some that do and some that dont and i found them useful. im hoping they come on the newer models for wen i purchase mine
if anyone knows?

The tone control knobs on the StingRay5's have the center detente position, so I would assume the StingRay4 would also.

the tone controls on my sterling do..u sure u weren't messing with volume nob, cuz that has no center position...hehe.j/p, i'm not an expert, but maybe the pre-EB stingray's don't have center positions.

Pretty sure they all have a centre position EXCEPT the vol controll.

Sounds like the knobs were removed and put back on at some stage....incorrectly!

The potentiometer shafts have to be returned to the centre indent position first.

thanks, the stingray i tried that didnt have the centre detentes was an older one, it wasnt pre eb but it wasnt as new as the one i tried with them.
