Yup - they've had that one for a bit. Wonder what they're asking for it.

I like the color, but the black headstock doesn't do it for me. I mean not just on the Bongo, on the other LTD basses.

Ah well, that's what makes the world go 'round.

I agree--I don't like the black headstock with the red bass. Maybe if the entire neck were black, but otherwise it just looks out of place.
 
uhh since when is the retail of abongo around 2000
last time i checked the musicman catalog they where 1400
CHEAPER THAN THE STERLING AND THE STINGRAY I MIGHT ADD
 
Retail is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, Jubs. Actual sale price will be somewhat different, usually.

Retail for Bongos is between about $1650 and $2300. bassmonkee's dual humbucker with piezo is at the high end of that retail price, BTW.

and it was 1450 i think
pizeo add 100 or 200 cant remember
 
that was the catolog retail price
not the price a store would sell it

since non of the stores in wichita or anyone in wichita owns one that i know of
 
The LE Bongo 5 over at Bass Central has been taunting me, though I'm starting to dig Candy Apple a bit more. I'm even starting to like Egypitian Smoke, and that scares me.
 
:D This is what I have coming at the end of July (well... it has a BP pick guard, and the matching headstock and a piezo - but this is it!!!!)
