Help! crack in neck plate?

I just noticed a crack in my Benji Madden MM guitar, its the screw under the M in Music Man, it looks to be all the way threw the plate what should I do get it fixed stop playing the guitar or what? Its my favorite guitar ever so I would like to know what to do so I don't do any or more damage ?!!

its very hard to take a pic it looks like a thick hair or eyelash

Get in touch with CS I had a similar issue and they swapped the neck plate

It may have been there for a long time and you've only noticed it now. Do contact CS and see what they say but if you've had no problems with your neck shifting around, don't worry too much.

There is a crack in the plate of my Silhouette Special. It's been there for years. I don't know if it was there when I got it, or if I over tightened that neck screw myself. But it's not a problem so I don't care.
