OK, so I've been tossing this idea around for a while and I know that the "c" word can be a little bad around here BUT hear me out.
What would it take to get a Bongo or for that matter a Sterling 5 body painted in the same green as the Slinky 5 packaging with the Slinky 5 graphics silk screened onit and then to get the headstock in white with the red string packing graphics silk screened???

Am I way out too lunch thinking that it could make a cool looking unit?? Am I really exhibiting my sleep deprivation that badly?? :D

I do think it'd make a wicked looking bass. Maybe for the Anniversary of the Slinky 5 set when it comes 'round?

anywho........

Great idea!
I will sign up for one without a doubt, as long as it's a Bongo 5 HH.

I'd like little circle stickers of 10 mm diameters with BP's face on them so I can put them on the pole pieces of my Bongo! :D

Green, white, red.

Looks like the Christmas Ed MM.
Sounds like an Italian Restaurant to me.

I think the string packaging has a bit of fluorescense to it. Not a good thing to replicate in something non-disposable, like a bass. You might match the hue, but the visual effect will not be the same without the UV Glow effect, which is something that fades away and looks real ugly over time.
