A few of you may have read my posts where I have been asking for info on how to rewire my StingRay to give me the option of selecting between series and parallel as I would like to have more tonal options than shifting hand position.
Please forgive me for wanting just a little bit more out of this awesome instrument!
I e-mailed Customer Service last nite with this query and got a prompt response this morning.
I was supplied with the schematic diagram that would allow me to operate my bass, via a dpdt mini toggle in series/parallel or series/split/parallel.
I was informed that this would void my warranty so I have written CS back to see if this would just concern the mod on the electronics and not the structural integrity of the instrument ( neck, body etc...) I'm sure I'll get a prompt response

Amen, brother.

I'm trying to decide right now what to take tonight....the Flaming Biff or the BP?

The Blue Pearl goes for sure, but that 2nd bass is hard to choose.

Why not both...? No shame in bringing three basses.

Ah, it's a private party, a rehearsal dinner thing....I'd feel like a wanker bringing three basses.

On the other hand, I don't really mind feeling like a wanker occasionally.

Let's see if there's room for another bass!

That's the stuff! When I was in my Beatles cover band, I typically would have three basses in tow...just because I could.

Being a wanker is highly under-rated!

I played the theme to Gilligans Island on that bass tonight.

I'm kind of proud of that, actually.

JW

And I thought I was the only disturbed individual that did that...

...you do both the main and intro scene themes?

I just want to know who Mary Ann is in this scenario.

The Dude?

:D

Oh yes, I see him as sweet and innocent and sensitive and....no, no, sorry, Steve's more like Mrs Howell.
