Larry, I was a tad hasty with my first reply. Did you contact the store first? They would be the first point of contact. The switch is a very easy fix BTW.

see contacting the store is out of the question i ordered from wild west guitars and they are in California I live in Illinois. Also it came with a scuff i use this since its only on the clear coat right by the switch and volume pot. Is it possible it got damaged during shipment? Also can you "buff" out this slight marks that doesnt go through the finish all the way, its a real light mark you can only see on a certian angle im sure you know what im talking about. I didnt initally notice this since i was in the honey moon stage with the guitar but now im actually looking at it and am seeing these things. Thanks for the replies and keep them comming,

Why not? Send them an email. They may organize the part to be sent to you. The guitar will still be under warranty and they will be able to sort something out.

dude, repairing the switch is almost a no-brainer.
Call customer service-I suspect they'll ship you a new part if you ship them the old one.
Once the new part arrives, any competent pro-shop will solder it back into place for a minimum charge.
Good luck.
PS-if you can un-solder it, you can re-solder it yourself almost as easily.
