Probably a 1980 or so build date. Greg might not be much help on the pre-EB Stingrays but I betcha I'm pretty close.
In the past, I've had good experiences with the early post-Leo 'Rays but remember they're mostly built from leftover parts and the quality....can vary. Check the preamp tone particularly closely. It's probably okay, but that's what I'd do.
