What are the differences between the necks of these two?

I'm playing a Sihlouette Special at the moment and sometimes find it hard to pull some fast runs. At first i thought i was because the neck was to small but I am now beginning to realise it is for two reasons. The neck seems too thin for me (so that half the time my hand doesn't have anything to hold on to) and the fretboard is very flat (or so it seems to me).

Does anybody else have these problems? Is the Luke any different?

The Silhouette & Luke differ mainly in neck "shape" not size...the Luke has more of a V feel, the Silhouette more rounded strat type. If you think the necks are too small, maybe check out an Axis...they're a totally different thing neck wise.

I recall it took me awhile to adjust to those EB/MM necks, but now I love 'em!! Maybe give it some time...
