Does anyone know what gauge strings the axisSS nut is cut for?

Just messin with ya Gary...They come from the factory with 9-42, but will accept 10's without problems. If you go bigger, the nutslots would need enlarging, and perhaps a slight truss rod adjustment. And maybe saddle height adjustments to compensate for the thicker strings.

thanks for the info...the 9's definately fit more snug than the tens...im not sure of the bottom end thickness of the tens, i knew you were gonna tell me nines though, my low e string just isn't quite so flush with the edge of the nut...but what do i care...i only have a week left to play my guitar...I would buy it from myself for 975....i don't know if anyone else will but i'll cross my fingers...

Hey Jon,

I was under the impression that if the ss came with hums, then 9's.

If with mm90's then 10's.

Is the nut cut the same on both or different?

Hey, btw...how's my second favorite eb guitarist doing?:)

KEITH

Keith..I'm doing great..and you are right about the string gauges...I just want to add that they are not rare strings:p
