I'm curious if they sell hardware other than chrome. Well, mostly it's the bridge I'd be worried about. You can more than likely find everything else parts wise in black, like knobs and tuners. My local GC has a SR5 that is black/maple, and it has black knobs. But that's about all I've ever seen. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did do a search that turned up nothing. And now that I've said that, someone is probably going to do a more thorough search and prove me wrong...

And, if anyone wants to sell their Onyx Sterling, then I wouldn't have to worry about this... yeah right, like that'll happen. People here are too smart about their EBMM's. Can't blame em'.

FYI, there is all black hardware on the Stealth Bongo, but you cannot buy a black bridge from EBMM, not even swap a chrome for a black. I wanted exactly that and asked CS specifically about it. No go.

You could have your chrome bridge powdercoated. Our guitarist owns a powdercoating business and has offered to do that for me.

Can you provide more details on that? I've heard about powercoating, but had the impression it cannot work, because it adds an additional layer on the surface which will mess with the dimensions of screw threads of the saddles.

If your powder coater knows what they are doing, they will fill the holes with "dummy" screws (same threads as the saddle screws) before powder coating. You would then either have to paint your bridge screws or find black ones.
